Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent for sports early, and discovered her ability to sprint while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within 10 weeks of her first attempt, she finished third in the 200 meter event in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed an agreement with Adidas. Then she was accepted into an institution called the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. She set an Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to win the 200 meter race. In 2007 she defended that title, beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently within the top three across her diverse events at the Olympics which took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
